Setting Up Your Family Account on Kuvera by CRED 


To enhance security for the investments you manage for your loved ones, accessing a Family Account now requires linking it to a unique mobile number that is different from your primary login mobile number.

Understanding the New Mobile Number Requirement 

In the new application, every account and PAN must be linked to a unique mobile number.

  • Your Primary Account is linked to the mobile number you use to log in.

  • Family Accounts must be linked to the personal mobile number of the family member whose account you are adding or verifying.

No change to your Family Accounts' existing investments: This setup process does not change the contact details mapped to your Family Accounts' actual investment folios. When fetching data from MF Central, or making mutual fund purchases and redemptions, all transaction OTPs will continue to go to the same mobile numbers they always have. The new number is just for account setup and login.

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. From the Home Page of the app, click  on the top left. Click on Family Account and then select the PAN of the family member whose Family Account you wish to set-up.  

2. Verify Mobile Number: Enter that family member's unique mobile number (different from your primary login number) and complete the one-time OTP verification.
3. Once step 2 is done, you should see your Family Account restored and visible as before.
